Rattle?

I had my car lowered on Wietec coilovers last week and I've noticed that I have some rattling coming from the rear of the car on uneven roads. I'm not sure if it's anything to do with the coilovers or if it's something completely unrelated. It's a facelift RS and only a month old. I have a feeling it could perhaps be the boot? :S

Love French build quality. :L I have tomorrow off so I'll have a look then. I think it could possibly be the tools for the spare wheel? I very much doubt it's the new suspension set up. Or I hope it isn't!

Striker realligned in mine also.

I've had a rattle/squeak in my Silverstone but its still only 5 weeks old It's coming from the back seat behind the drivers seat so I'm having to drive with the seat folded which seems to stop the problem until I have time to send it into renault.

1 of my back seats done that and the seat got replaced under warrenty

I had this with my silverstone...easy fix though...took the seats out

So this seems to be a common problem this seat rattle. Ill take it in on Saturday I think

I thought the boot striker was a more common issue than the seats, but seems the seats are an issue too :lol:

my seats rattle, but really dont bother me, it is always gonna be a problem as they are not bolted down, so even if i replace them they will rattle again in the near future

the driver's side rear passenger seat has rattled from the left spring catch since day two or three - but the left one never makes a sound. 18 months old now. It's not necessarily the case that a replacement would do it. Folding it or pushing it forward quietens it down but I've got a list now soooo....

I have this problem too, it looks like it needs something wedging between the upper spring part and the seat runner.

Greased the locking mechanism and put a large plastic o ring around the top of the spring, no more rattle! :-D
