Just writing to tell you all about some shocking customer service I received from my Renault Garage in Bur St Edmunds.

The long story short, I was sold a car (Twingo GT) with less than 3 months MOT and Warranty on it, it quickly developed a water leak in the boot and the horn failed. I took the car in to have the water leak looked at, half way through the diagnostic they told me I have no warranty and no MOT! My warranty had expired 4 days earlier, along with the MOT.
I was charged £180 for a water check diagnosis, MOT and new horn. I still dont have my car as the horn hasnt arrived, Ive been without a car for four days now and my shift starts tomorrow. I've been told I can't have a courtesy car and now I have absoluetly no way of getting to work.

On top off this, they want to charge me something like over another £100 to fix the actual leak. Boot seal.

All this on a car I've owned for just under 3 months. And they didn't want to help me out in anyway, I know can't get to work. So I'm ****** basically, and I'm shocked at their customer service.

I'll be writing a letter to the garage and if nothings done I'll write a letter to central Renault. Just thought I'd have a rant on here.

Karl I was wondering if you could suggest anything or possibly give some advice.

Wouldnt have been offered used warrenty with the car as it still has new car warrenty on the car.

To be honest mate i know this isnt what you want to here but there is nothing you can do unless either the dealer or Renault UK give you good will on the problem and pay a percentage towards the problems.

I would have a word with the DP and if that dont work have a work with RUK.

But as you didnt notify them of the problems before the warrenty ran out theres not much you can do

They knew about the leak before, about 2 weeks ago. But I couldn't make the oppointment due to work calling me in.
But I guess that's not good enough

If you have reported the issue and they know about it then it should be covered
