i have noticed that some people, (eg karl) have a rear upper strut and was wondering if they made a huge difference to the twingo, worth the money?

If you look at it that way then all mods are a waste. Tbh it looks good, and probably does add some minor stiffness and funny enough I did ask someone with one their thoughts the other day and was told the difference was felt.

If you're going to drive it hard enough to notice though you're doing well ;)

It's not that expensive at all so why not? I want one even if it's cos I like the look

A lot of people say they make no difference. Coincidentally a lot of people have never tried one.

I personally felt a difference with the rear strut brace fitted, it made the car feel a lot more solid through the bends and on roundabouts it felt like the car wanted to oversteer (which it won't unless provoked).

Mine will be for sale soon too :p

Ageeing with Matt

The car feel stiffer though the bends. And looks damn cool!

Stiffer in the corners, rear ends reacts much better and when pushing it real hard on the track, the "weight transfer" operates a bit better, you can fell it coming earlier and then have less surprises like the rear end coming around ...

I don't consider it a waste of money, especially if the car is used on street, for fun, and sometimes on the track.

Obviously it won't have the same rigidity improvement as a welded rollcage :D

It's a shame the bonnet is so shallow and sloped, would be a nice addition up front too
