I'm undecided which, but I know I want some! Not got an issue with sorting rails out etc just need to decide which ones I want.

Trendlines are awesome and obviously the OEM upgrade factor would be nice, but to find a binned trophy will a) be hard and b) be sad! But I'd love something like that in my car.

Sportsters are cool again, but are waaayyy too expensive and I didn't think were that comfortable when i sat in them tbh.

So got me thinking, might be interested in finding some from another car. Say an accord type r which had the most comfortable buckets I've ever sat in.

Can someone give me some ideas? I'm looking to do it on a budget too

Oh and also, I find that I sit too high in the twingo, a common complaint all round I realise. Just wondering how much of that is the seat itself, and how much lower I can get a recaro?

I know al has changed his seats, how much lower?

I've changed mine to side-mounted OMP seats and I'm not really happy with the height of the seat. It's definately not any lower although I do have sliders as well (possibly an inch at most). If you were to sort out custom subframes you could most definately have them sitting lower but I don't think you'll notice much with "off the shelf" parts.

I was looking at some black recaro's from a dc2 I found that had been crashed. Pretty rare to be black to be fair, and would need custom frames and runners anyway. I'm actually very tempted

Cross Pollination of Sport Seats into Different cars isn't unheard off and doesn't have to be difficult :D
I had 54 Plate CTR Seats in my Rover 25, My Dad uses an Evo 8 Recaro in one of his Xzara Rally Cars.

Any 'Teg seat seems to have a stupid premium put on them, because people want them.

The OMP subframes are probably the easiest option for the car.
Take whatever manufacture seats you want: Accord Type R seats are VERY Comfy but don't discount any other manufacturer, Evo Seats are brilliant as well.
Grind/cut off the mounting points from the OEM sliders of the seat (keeping sliders intact)
Drill the correct holes in the subframe to match the sliders.

Et Voila, some Cross Marque seats for your Twingo.

How much height difference you would get, is debatable, but it would be a nicer seat...
The Recaro Sportsters are a very shallow base seat, so would drop your arse down considerably, but they are extortionate!

No I intend to, I'm just curious how much lower I can get them to sit as I'm sat on the car not in it

I've discounted the ATR seats now due to them not being applicable in a 3 door situation :( they are the most comfy buckets I've ever sat in though whichis a shame. I did look at an evo 6 as I love the design of the seats and they look awesome and are nice and comfy but have been done all over the place. I really like the idea of trend lines from a trophy purely for the OEM upgrade kinda route. Just considering the best seats still, but will likely be them at the moment

Mine dropped a fair amount, the standard seats are really high  I'd guesstimate at least 3-4 inches which makes a big difference to the driving position
