Hi peeps

Been in need of some help, whenever I go to fill up mi twingo the pump always cuts out every few seconds, I've tried putting less pressure on the hose trigger and tried putting it in half way, I've tried every petrol station where I live and it doesn't make any difference, was wondering has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to fix it? Cheers :)

could be one of a few things but most probably that you pressing it in too far which can sound silly but it happens to me a lot. pressing it too far in creates a back pressure and the nozzle is designed to detect that, so it cuts itself off. worst case scenario is a blocked breather / vent but i doubt that's it. you'd notice that by hmmm how would i describe it, kind of like a sucking noise when you are 2/3 to 1/2 a tank full when filling up. i'd go with the first one though lol

I wouldn't be surprised if it is a blocked breather, I tried putting in the grizzle as little as I can get away with and it still cutting out, the only thing I can think to do is phone renault up but they'll probably would be as useful as a chocolate fireguard :L

renault wouldn't be able to do anything, that one would come down to general wear and tear as they say. the only people you could hold culpable would be the petrol station itself for selling dirty petrol lol. i could send you over instructions on how to strip down the filler neck if you wish? it's not to hard a job, just a little bit of an awkward area to get into??

uhh triple post? sorry wow hahaha first mod who reads this can you delete it + the other two lol
