Spoke to RS tuning about getting my Dini 100 booked in for a remap but wouldnt do it because i needed Cilo 182 injectors fitted before even touching it. Now ive seen people swapping the injectors over but thought it's only because they have already had a remap, air filter ect and want to get even more out of it. Just seeing if anyone has had a problem with mapping one or any thoughts ?? :|

Perhaps he has a map as a base to start from he's already made and that required the upgrade.

Seem to remember someone saying that after a remap the injectors on the 1.2T would be working at the edge of their abilities, so replacing them for the beefier version means you are less likely to have future problems

Mapping the engine requires the 182 injectors as the standard ones will be working at the limit once the remap has taken place, thus giving an increase risk in them failing and causing damage to the engine. The 182 injectors once mapped will be running comfortably as they are made for an engine with more performance, so they will not pose a risk of failing under the increased useage.

Paul has a good reputation for playing on the safe side. If he mapped it and then one of the injectors starts to fail from running at 100% duty cycle then something is going to melt and who's fault would that be?

I remapped mine to 127 bhp without changing injectors.

Probaly would have been more if I fueled high octane instead of 95, back then..

Cheers for getting back guys. Totaly agree with you singlespeed, haven't heard a single problem about RS that's why I went to them guys first and Paul working wonders with every car he touches. Just reading through waities thread and the remap looks great that he's had.

Rather them say put the injectors in than not and then leading to a nice exspensive engine rebuild :|
Best start looking for some injectors :)

Injectors you can either source second hand, or pay a little more and speak to Karl for some new ones. im sure he has given someone a price over on the SMC side of the forum

You can get 130 with the standard injectors, but they will pack in within 10,000 miles. The 172 182 injectors are made to work at higher rates which is incorrect to say but keeps the jargon confusing crap outa ur ears so u can understand me. Get the injectors fella, spend that extra 100

Paul would probably load the map he made for my GT as it worked well then tweak to suit your car.

Note if you use shut 95 Ron he won't stop going on about it :p needless to say shell v power from now on only!

EDIT: noticed JMRs post I pretty much answered all questions asked and put graphs up.

That map was with 172 injectors k tec cat back and bmc panel ;)

Got some injectors with the help of JE_GT. Payed 65£ because sending them to Belgium is a little bit more expensive :)

Haha no worries, can't comment on RS133's remapped but would certainly be worth asking Paul and finding a member who's RS133 has been mapped there!

I know Orbital of TOC got his 133 mapped there as Paul mentioned him ;)

Well I got the 172 injectors right here so I contacted Shiftech Engineering by mail where I remapped my car to see what the price would be for a remap with the 172 injectors.

Got a reply today, "We don't do that type of change with injectors, sorry"

WTF?

I also contacted BR-Performance (where GhostZ went) and DVX-Perfromance.

If they give me the same reply, I'm going to go bananas..

Contact Henk @ Fastchip. He's located in Goes (the Netherlands) but a worldwide acknowledged Renault specialist. He's the only one I know of who I'd trust my car to remap.
