Removing chemical stains

Well some of you may remember me posting this thread a while ago:

well i've been trying to sort some of it out myself as some of you recommended and today i've finally managed to get rid of the chemical stains on the black trim which has annoyed me since i bought the car, before and after shots below:

i used the following product and applicator to remove them:
Sonus SFX-1 Restore Polish
Handi-grip applicator
(ordered from cleanyourcar.co.uk)

chuffed with the results!
 
A nice improvement there Rob. Getting a wax back ontop of it should add a bit of protection from any further watermarks/chemicals etc from being so stubborn in future.
 
Might give that stuff a try as I have a spot on my roof and the results you got look good
