No you cant buy the Twingo in LY.

I was speaking with David from RUK yesterday about it. If you was to want a LY Twingo you would need to get a full respray.

LY is only available for models made in ye old alpine factory is it not? Therefore only clio's offered in it currently. It truely is a special colour, looks immense. Expensive option though!

A qoute from David at RUK

Twingo and Megane aren't available from factory in liquid yellow. However should customers especially want this colour we can now arrange for new cars to be resprayed when they arrive in the UK, there is a £5000 charge for this service, including VAT.

£5000!! Blimey!!

I would expect that's a nut and bolt strip down and rebuild following. Any garage doing it to that level would charge more I suspect! They're a business first

Yeah when you consider the fact that the car is alredy built and they've got to dismantle it, prep the paint again and respray its worth it. The paint itself isn't cheap for bodyshops to buy so you'd be lucky to get that sort of price from a bodyshop unless you're friends or family.

David told us yesterday that the reason LY isn't an option is because of a "factory restriction". In other words, they simply don't do LY in Slovenia.

OR spain for the 250. They get that crappy sport yellow which is horrid compared to LY!

Ah yeah, the really pale yellow. It reminds me of Sunflower Yellow...

It reminds me of really strong pee :p

It probably would be a lovely colour if LY wasn't around tbh

Thing is, apart from £5k being a lot of money, I'm not sure I'd fancy a car that was built then taken apart again and then reassembled!

If these cars rattle enough the first time they're built, I hate to think what they'd be like if they get taken apart and put back together haha.

The would of been mint...A LY Twingo, i would buy one, if i wan't in love with Mirage Grey.

Not a fan on the new meg yellow though

Was going to watch the video but YouTube is blocked here so can't... I assume it's the one that says something like "comes with Va Va Voom as standard"?

Nope just shots of yellow rs' round the track with captions of the awards they may have won from autoexpress and the like.

Strange.. they showed us the advert yesterday and said it would be live today. Unless there's some variations.
