Hoping someone can help with this as the internet and renault seem to have lots of different information.

What is the formal service requirements?

Currently got a car with 12k approaching 1 year old. Lots of sources state 18K/2 years and the service light is set at 18K however the warranty and service sheet seems to indicate

1 Year or 18K - A Service and Replace Cabin filter with an oil filter/oil change being recommended

As it is on the 4 year plan they won't do the recommended.

Then at

2 years or 18k - B Service and oil filter/oil change

So my reading of this is I have to take it in shortly for a A type service (basically a few checks) then in another 6k/6 months approx for the second service and basically due to the fact I do 12K a year this pattern is likely to continue going forward with a need for a visit to the garage every 6 months.

Seems a bit stupid to me as surely it would make more sense just for them to do the A/B service now and then again next year and so on.

Thoughts?

Is my interpretation correct?

Also what is the leeway on servicing. It is due mid Sept but as I am off work at the moment would be good to go in and just get it done a bit early (approx 3 weeks).

Thanks in advance People :)

At one point it was 1 year/12k then it got changed to 2 years/18k or something but 2 years is a long time to wait for even a basic oil change.

Better to do it the same time every year in my eyes

On the RS model there are a couple of different schedules based on 1yr/12K and 2yr/12.5K intervals. It was changed in about April 09.

Afraid I don't know what the service schedule is for the 1.2, but I would presume it went through a similar change at about that time. You can always phone Renault UK customer services with the number plate/VIN and they'll be able to confirm exactly what the schedule is for your car.
