Twizy comp with tuition fees prize!
Renault has launched a new competition with a top prize likely to delight college and university students alike up and down the country.
The design competition for the new Twizy electric runabout will award one lucky winner enough money to cover a years' worth of tuition fees.
The challenge is open to current Higher Education students as well as Further Education students making the step-up this autumn.
The second prize is a weekend for two in Paris, with the third prize winner taking home £250 in French Connection vouchers.
To promote the competition, Renault will be visiting four campuses around the UK with a Twizy.
They are University College London (Mon 13th Feb), Birmingham City University (14th), Manchester Metropolitan University (16th) and University of Glasgow (17th).
Students throughout the UK are encouraged to visit www.designatwizy.co.uk to download a template of the car and let their creative juices flow.
They have until 20th February to submit their designs for the Twizy and can enter as many times as they like in the hope of scooping one of three prizes.
A Renault-appointed judging panel, including the brand's own Senior Vice President, Corporate Design, Laurens van den Acker, will whittle down all of the entries to find their top 10.
It will then be up to the general public to cast their votes via www.designatwizy.co.uk, with winners announced on 16th April 2012.
