When I did mine I disconnected the battery, left it for 30 mins "just in case" but don't think that's really required. Pull the front off (believe 4 torx on the back to release it), disconnect the airbag, remove the nut and hope that the wheel pulls off. If it's stuck, leave the nut on and go nuts. You don't want that smashing your face!

Hope that helps...

Airbag light will remain on unless you fit a resistor.

it feels awesome :) and i used the clio mk 2 hub boss kit :), make sure you get the mk2 one cus it comes with the airbag resistor

I have a boss (without resistor) if anyone else wants to do this. £10 + post ;)

Did your wheel come with a horn / center?

Stupid horn button/blanking plug not fitting.

Excuse the poor photo its pitch black outside. Just had a quick drive and it's awesome, even more like a go kart

you won't need to undo the battery terminals or wait 30 minutes for anything on a twingo guys! the airbags do not have capacitors in them, they are wired directly into the srs ecu and when dissconected they just throw up the srs and spanner lights instantly, this includes your seat airbags and belt clip plug. once dissconnected, they won't blow the bags or pretensioners so it's a handy little piece of advice or at least this is true on the twingo gt. i'd be fair to say they'll at least share the same srs systems so this should be true for all the ranges? although it is deffinately good practice to wait the 30 minutes on other cars which you are unsure off especially much older ones. wheel looks lovely callum !

Cheers mate, I finally found a horn button to fill the hole haha so it looked better now, loving the 300mm I'm glad I didn't go for the sabelt 330mm

To remove the steering wheel what kind of screwdriver do you need to unscrew the bolt anyone got a size or type you need to get the wheel of ?

make sure you buy a new bolt for the steering wheel, the technical data throws up a note 96 warning for the tightening torque ''use new bolts / nuts'' :)
