Is this thread a joke?? there was one EXACTLY the same the other day which YOU commented on!

Gtechniq c4. then don;t worry about it for at least 12 months if not 2 years

I use the new look trim gel for lots of jobs though, on budget jobs for tyres it still gets used, and for trim on, again, budget jobs. If you clean the trim very throroughly first, then apply, wait and then buff it (very important!) then it should last a couple of weeks easily. it beads quite nicely too

I couldnt find the thread !

Is this the right stuff ? Once oyu answer ill lock the thread

I've not had the need to restore black plastic from grey for some time.

But I used to have a bottle of Carplan Black Trim Wax. I'm not a fan of Carplan stuff but I recall this literally being a black, liquid wax which effectively stained the plastic.

For £6.50 delivered it might be worth a shot. Couple of coats on my old '93 Clios plastics and they looked nice and dark.

If it's not on faded plastic then AG Rubber & Vinyl treatment makes them look brighter or the Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel is good too. :)
