What you revising for mate?

I haven't revised for years now, don't think I've got it in me to study any more haha.

I hate exams and revising :( i wish i didnt have to study!

Haha yup in my last year of AAT at the moment, i think im doing the new one.. all my exams on the computer... not fun really!

Its just so much to take in really :/ o well!

How you getting on with ACA.. i will be going onto that when ive finished my AAT (hopefully this year)

Mine weren't computer based!

Unfortunately I failed the FA AAT top up. When I did the full on fa paper i passed! that's all the consildated income statements, SOF's and cash flows. You doing this through a firm? Who are you studying with too?

ooo the FA exam.. i did mine about a month ago.. just waiting for the results now!:/:/

Yh i work for an accountancy firm called Mazars LLP (big worldwide film of accountants and auditors) i study at Kaplan College Milton Keynes

How about you???

I meant the ACA FA exam! I never failed an exam in my life till that one :( ACA is a big step up, really need to be on the ball with that :(

I work for a small firm in Rickmansworth, 5 partners is all! BUT cos of that, I do audits from start to finish, I interact with clients (in fact I've had one calling me this morning with bloody questions :p it's okay, he's one of the good ones) and get to do more than people i chat with when i am in college from bigger firms. I did AAT with kaplan and went BPP for ACA, not that much difference tbh other than BPP give you free tea and coffee in the teaching rooms in London

Best thing about being an audit senior, is getting tea made on demand ;)

Ooo right i thought you meant the AAT FA exam!...cant pass everything in life mate thats just how it goes you win some you loose some!

oo right ok, sounds like a nice place to work!

Tea rounds...we dont have that in our office as its too big and just noone does it haha! when we are out at clients... most of the time they are nice and make it for us... others..well.. lets not go there:p haha!

lol well there's only about 30 of us in the office so tea rounds can be made to happen! I gotz one junior that keeps falling for the same thing. Call him up, ask what he hits a golf ball off and when he answers I ask yes please :)

When is your exam? Our juniors had results come in the last couple of weeks, all fail. Then a week later they were told they had actually passed! Few glitches with the new aat i think

my exam is on wednesday!

hahaha yup! it is a total joke!! the reason ive not yet got my result is because i was meant to do the exam on the 22nd december.. but it was cancelled twice and i ended up doing it on the 19th january.. and it still didnt work properly (auto sum boxes didnt work so it appears all your answers were wrong) it was a joke!

You haven't been revising and I've deduced this for two reasons:

1) You posted at 2:58pm. That is not a day.
2) There are no colouring books or crayons.

yes i have.. those cans are all empty... i twisted the opening round and tucked it into the whole in order for them to stack better;)

haha course ;)

Nah, I'm sure you have been. I can't read your answers to see if it's right though! Not that I remember anyway :p it's been 3 tax years since I did it.
