So, I'll shortly be going back to standard to free up some funds for the MX5. I'm in two minds about what to do really... do I keep it as it is for as long as possible and only try and sell parts when I *need* the money or do I get them off and advertised as soon as possible so that I have more chance of selling them sooner.

I really want to get new parts in the MX5 but at the same time I really don't want to see the Twingo standard. I know that once everything is sold and new things are purchased I'll be a happy bunny again but it's just a sad thought thinking of the Twingo sitting there without it's unique parts. Will I lose interest? Will I hate driving it? Will I prefer it? Who knows but time will most certainly tell!

If anyone is interested in my bucket seat setup, it will all be for sale shortly... everything required to fit the Twingo without modification. :)

Anyone else had to do this? Did you feel the same way and how did it turn out?

I sold off some parts from my quite modded Alfa 156. I was gutted to see it without the things that made it different. Couldn't even bear to drive it in the end. Planned on keeping it and running a cheap second car, ended up falling out of love with it without the bits and bobs. Sold it in the end

im driving mine standard now matt and its not the same :(

even though i didnt do much to it, its not the same car, lost its individuality and personal stamp

it needs to be done though, especially when it comes to selling it and all u need to think about is your not keeping it and you have something new to play with

I Will be very interested in the seats....
I had an EP3 Type R which I was deeply in love with  . When I took it back to standard to sell it just didn't have to same appeal to me and I was glad to see it go.

Will be sad to see yours go back to standard Matt, really like your 133.r approach. Hope the MX is providing lots of fun :)
