well guys, i fancied baking again.. and today i've made...double choc chip cookies (dark and milk choc chips).

These cookies taste AMAZING!! they are the soft chewy type in the middle with the slightly crisp outer edge (perfection).

a few pictures of them in the oven/cooling down:

If anyone is interested in making them i will post the recipe/ingredients up!

haha home made then sure you didnt buy cookie dough then beat it into doscks then bang in oven ;)

haha nopes.. all home made 100% (even had to drive to tesco in the rain as i didn't have enough butter:( ).

Ok, these are the ingredients you will need:

250g plain flour
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/2 teaspoon salt ( a bit less but not sure what to say.. maybe 1/4 teaspoon).
170g unsalted butter, melted
200g dark brown soft sugar
100g caster sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 egg yolk
200g chocolate chips ( i used 100g milk choc chip and 100g dark choc chip, but its totally up to you.. could even put raisins in if you wanted etc...)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 170 C / Gas mark 3. Line baking trays with baking paper (or grease them up with butter).

2. Sift together all the flour, bicarb soda and salt leave this to one side for the time being.

3. In a medium sized bowl, cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and caster sugar until well blended. Beat in the vanilla, egg and egg yolk until light and creamy. Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended (will be kinda like dough). Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a wooden spoon. Drop cookie dough onto the prepared baking trays, in lumps/balls, make sure they aren't too close together as they do expand...massively. Do not flatten the dough.

4. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes ( i went for dead on 15 mins) in the preheated oven, or until the edges are lightly toasted. Cool on baking trays for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

5. Enjoy!

Let me know how you get on :)

I do but she is away on holiday.

I promise, i myself baked these and i am very proud!
