Hello!

I use my twingo a lot on the weekends for taking my bike out somewhere nice for a ride (mainly the Wyre forest at the moment)
It does fit in the boot rather well and squeezing it in has become a fine art. However, My interior is getting a bit too many knocks and mud covered.

Iv'e looked on ebay and the best offer seems to be genuine Renault roof bars for about 120 + postage - This is a bit pricey for me. so I wondered if anyone knew of a place where I can get cheaper twingo ones?

I all ready have the bike holder from a previous car and dont really want a boot mounted one as they seem to always leave a few footprint dents :S

Thanks for any help :)

Yotah has a towbar mounted rack but it's probably cheaper going for roof bars if you already have the rack

you can get a proper Renault boot mounted one for the twingo. That shouldn't leave footprint dents?

I think it sounds about right as you don't want cheap ones as well you don't want then to break or come loose.

singlespeed- I did consider putting a tow bracket on the back for one of those mounts but I had a lot of trouble with the place we get the jeeps done for towing - they messed me about for ages and said they couldnt do it.

Dubz - Renault do do a boot lid mounted one that looked fairly decent. I might get one test fitted (if its cheaper than the bars) to see where it might rub.

Thanks you two :)
