Rowan Atkinson in hospital after McLaren F1 crash

Actor Rowan Atkinson is in a stable condition after he crashed his McLaren F1 super car which caught fire.

The Blackadder star is believed to have suffered a shoulder injury when the car hit a tree, near Peterborough.

He is said to have walked from the car after the crash, on the A605 at Haddon on Thursday evening, and waited for an ambulance.

He was admitted to hospital and is expected to be discharged later.

Firefighters arrived on the scene to put out the fire.

last time he wrote off the front and got it rebuilt so wonder if he will get it back together this time?

It's gonna be pretty costly to repair, but I read somewhere that he's going to get it done. It was also on fire for a short while, so am sure the guys at the McLaren will have their work cut out for a good while.

I had read somewhere that he done a similar thing before, cost LOADS as you can well imagine! Ive also read that he bumped into the back of someone and the damage ran into thousands just for a tiny little bump. Comes with the car I suppose!

He'll get it repaired , he loves that car .
