Wondering if anyone can tell me what the rs spoiler and diffuser come like? Or if anyone has any pictures? Wanting to get these at the end of the month but need to see if these will need painted or not ..

The Spolier comes in primier and the Diffusser is just black plastic.

i still havent fitted mine. been a few months now as well, the diffuser comes the same colour and texture as the bit on the 133 so if u want it gloss, u will need to paint it.

i think the spoiler definitely needs painting though but not too sure coz i dont have it

This is how it looks without paint on the spoiler , was taken a few days after they released them. I mounted too see what it looked like. You will need to paint as it shows some of the DA sander marks where the rough edges have been taken off. Ill try and find a closer up image.

edit. Heres another you can clearly see where the rough edge has been sanded down.

TBH, my spoiled looked like it had come out the mould and has a quick going over with a sander to take the edges off. Two coats of filling primer went on before the topcoat

A guy from my boyfriends work used to be a car painter so he's offered to paint both the diffuser and the spoiler if I can get the paint, should definitely have these by the end of the month, think it will make the GT look 10x better! :D

Is it hard to fit them or a pretty simple job?

Seem to remember reading somewhere that the spoiler's just a couple of bolts, but can't remember where I read that, so am sure someone on here who's done it will be along to comment shortly ;)

It certainly looks like the RS spoiler *should be an easy swap if you already have the GT spoiler. A couple of bolts either side, with one each side being covered by a grommet.

* Mine is now painted and ready to fit, but work has stopped me trying it on for size. Hopefully the bolt pattern is a good match and won't need any additional work

It is very easy to fit the spoiler 4 bolts out 4 new bolts in that are supplied with the spoiler. As said 2 bolts are hidden behind rubber grommets.

Is it easy to screw the holes? because i have no holes and since i have had a spoiler lying about doing bugger all and i really want to fit it

Can't wait to get these on my car, it makes the car look amazing, just thinkin about what colour to spray the spoiler, either silver to go with mirrors and paint the diffuser gloss black or get the mirrors, spoiler and diffuser gloss black ..

You don't want it all silver?

Might have to say I agree to much silver could be a bit OTT but if you do it you may prove us wrong

I think it will look silly if you have the diffuser in black and the other bits in silver.. i think it should all be black or all be silver.. otherwise there are three colours that stand out too much i think it will look a bit of a mess.. (ready to be proven wrong though :) )

In my opinion, the diffuser wont loom good silver. But perhaps that's coz I'm so used to looking at black ones
