Rs gordini progress thread!! (always being updated!)

Okay people so I thought I'd make a progress thread bright and early and keep updating as I go along...

So I bought my rs gordini dropping from a clio rs 197.... Tbh.... Best thing I've ever done I love this little car!

Anyway this is the first day I got it and first mod swap Ariel for a Hyundai one!




It hasn't been detailed yet so no good shines and no beading

I got straight to work on ordering the twingo133.net logo sticker as also some led's!

I haven't put the sticker on yet as I want to give inside an unreal clean first!

Also rear number plate is done but no pic yet

Today I got round to taking the standard throttle body off and replacing it with a 64mm bored out one, it seems to e responding well at the moment but still need to wait till settles fully as it was a bit dodgie on my clio, if doesn't totally settle I will have to transplant some internals...

My next few things are

Detail
Sticker on
Black mats (save gordini ones)
Apex lowering springs (until coilies are saved for)

These are the hope in near future and still debating where to go on modding fully thanks!

Cheers people! It's going okay but seems to bounce between 1 and 2 thou still but I think I've got slight prob with electrics in it ... I'm Guna get my spare done out to 62 or 63 I think it will e a better size for the twingo tbh bud

Okay people so I'm Guna take of the 64mm and sell on ebay, I think the car will Benifit better around the 62mm mark so the standard is going back on for now

Another update!

I've changed the gordini mats to plain black basically to save te gordini ones but tbh I think te plain black looks neater too!

Also team heko wind deflectors came too so they have been fitted( could some one quickly post how they should be fitted just so I Definatly know there in right)

The silver vision lamps also came so rears and front been changed but here's just a pick of the fronts

So springs came yesterday and also another little present too see if things maybe can be adapted

whats your first thoughts. Is it likely to clear the injectors and spark plug coils without serious work?

It's both parts bottom and top bud and I also got the 197 injectors with but they won't make any difference unless pushing ours to limit but injectors are clear I don't think it will catch on the pencils as the 197 set up is same and there's plenty room there , only worried about tb to back of engine bay and oil dipstick also not 100% if flanges match up so may need modding there ..

Just some pi springs for now I'm wanting to get coilies eventually but I've had pi springs before and they werent too bad tbh

30 front 25 rear I'll get pics and little review when fitted but like I say I didn't see point when I'm going coilies eventually , also quick update on the 197 inlet.. It's a no go due to a few things so there back on flea bay
