They look the same, but when in my friends wind with my phone connected playing music it shows the track name whereas nine just shows "audio track"

Is this just software or the stereo, his was the standard option on the Wind, and mine the standard with the RS Gordini!!

Probably depends on what tag version the particular stereo uses?

Just a guess seeing as mine says audio track and i've tried to get it to show the names

I have seen some track info displayed, from tracks on my N8 phone. However the track title displayed didn't change as new tracks started, so you could go through a whole album and it would only show the first track when the bluetooth connected and started playing. Although it is only some tracks and others just show 'audio track'.

You can see the name of the track if you push that button with that sign "list" .. but text will be only few seconds and then is back to "audio track" .. why is this so crapy? ..

I've tried and it doesnt work on iPhone4 with iOS5... Nor can I see my phonebook or move songs backwards :(

I play music in my car via bluetooth connection of my android phone. I can go back and skip forward with the controls on the steering wheel.
Doesn't show the track name though with bluetooth, maybe like Oizo says when pressing track info it does, I'll have to try that.

My Ipod/USB still hasn't been fixed (the sound is broken) but I remember when I tried it (in iTunes you have to put all the tracks in the right format to work properly) it did show the tracks name.

I'll look at iTunes settings about the track names

I used to be able to go back and forward and it was a lot quicker until apple changed things!

If you press the info button, it shows it is looking for an ID3 tag.

Apparently itunes use ID3 tagging so the info should show unless it's all messed up or incomplete from copying from other sources
