Hi all,

Recently purchased a 2009 Extreme Blue RS Twingo 133 for £5,995 with 20k miles on the clock and 1 year warranty. Very pleased with it so far.

Here's some pictures:

No plans at the moment, will wait until warranty is up.

Thanks for looking good looking.

What a brilliant progress thread! Great plans ;)

Haha messin, beautiful car, extremely clean.. They look sexy clean

Looks good! You could just de-badge the TWINGO sticker from the back, and Then swap the indicator bulbs for some silvatec indicator bulbs. Little modifications, but it makes a big difference :).

I class it as progress getting it to this state ;) I do have plans in mind, but it's all irrelevant at the moment :)

The 'Twingo' comes off? I hate it. Matter of heat and peeling off?

I didn't even do that haha I just got warm/hot water from the bucket I was washing the car with and then peeled it away with my subway card :)

You could barely see mine when I first did it like when you stand a certain angle in the sun, but after a good wash it has gone. Can't see it at all now!

Definitely be doing this! Thanks for that :p

Bit of glue/tar remover. Otherwise a bit of petrol will do the trick. Just wash it afterwards.

Haha my kinda man! I did the same but with a blunt butter knife. Sad to say that when I told Maggi he almost cried! Didn't leave one mark though!! Whoop.

Only cos I can see you doing it in my head. And it didn't go well

Small progress update:

- My car didn't have any mats in them so ventured to Renault to pick up myself a set for £60! Whilst I was there I've ordered the part that's missing from my boot well.

- Also upgraded the headlight bulbs to Osram's, much better than standard I must say.

- New number plates with no garage names on there. Used sticky pads so no holes on show, looking a lot cleaner.

- Also removed the Twingo badge on the rear as it looks naff.

It appears that my wheels have had a poor re-spray whilst left on the car, is it really worth spending £300 on getting them refurbished fully?

Next on the agenda is hopefully a Ktec cat-back exhaust with a remap, along with some H&R springs as it's sitting a little high than I'd like. Are these easy to fit? Just standard spring compressor job as normal?

After a trip to A+E due to stabbing myself in the face with a screwdriver (Clip on calipers) I have finally managed to paint all my calipers ST Orange from E-Tech. Happy with the results.

Managed to nab myself a cheap set of 182 with good tyres needing a refurb. Picked them up yesterday and well happy with them. Refurb isn't perfect, a few minor imperfections but can't complain of the price. Couple of pictures.
