Searching Device constantly

So i have this issue with certain USB sticks in my OEM radio that it plays my songs and then after 10 minutes it says "searching device" and then it skips back a song i have listened to 5 minutes ago

anyone occurred this problem i have to test it more if its the USB stick that is causing it but 2 out of 3 tested (diferent brand and also capacity) had this problem or that it is the USB port maybe causing it

There's something in my manual for mp3 CDs that you shouldn't have more than 7 folders I'm the root directory. Don't know if this also applies to USB sticks but might be worth a try.

it only has 2 folders so i can put that out of the question thanks for the heads up

are all the files in mp3 format and a usable bit rate?

A bit monotonous, but try filling a stick with multiple coppies of a couple of known good tracks and see if the problem clears
