Ok so after being banned I've come too realise one thing, it was over a meet thread and my ability to chat s**t but moving on I've had an idea.

When we organise a meet we all put our names down like:
1. Jra3d
2. Buggerlugs
3. I can't spell.

How about making a poll: for example:
"Milton Keynes meet, can you attend, blah blah blah?"
Then at the top you have a yes, no or maybe box..... As you can simply click the option and then the creator can see names of who's attending (I think..!)

Then all the chat and randomness doesn't conflict with the original purpose of the thread, people can ask questions and we not loose sight of who's actually coming.

Opinions on a postcard.....?

Alfaowner does this. It then adds your avatar to a list. I'll get a screen grab

Difficult to get in the iPap. Will try harder.

Basically there is a post above the first post stating what's going on, with a yes, no, maybe. Once you click on one you avatar is shown in the RSVP section. People can rant away and it does affect the planning and info as its all in the top bit

OI NEIL or KARL, come on wheres the MOD panel can you see anything, that would let the POLL'ey check on users who vote for what?

As it stands, It doesn't look like we can see names from the poll vote, from the Moderators panel, just the number of votes like regular members.

I'm sure it would be viewable in the administrators panel as the PhP software must know who has voted. I have briefly looked in there before, but didn't have a good rummage in-case I fecked it up. Wether it could be implemented for polls in the meets section only would be a question for Matt. Thus keeping other polls anonymous

Yeah other polls defo anno but for a meet would make it easier too see who's coming instead of all this faffing around copying and pasting!

Done. It's a good idea if it is workable on the forum platform. The Alfa forum is vBulletin based, so different to here
