So I caved, traded a bunch of really old xbox games in at Game (and they price matched/beat CEX so gave me £1 more than cex would offer on each) and paid the grand total of £1 so I'm happy. Can't wait to play it IF I can connect to a server

Anyone else got it? Shall we set up a 133 region?

It's a shame it's EA as Origin is still crap.

Slightly offtopic, but I saw this guy yesterday... :))

Just a bit of fec*** swearing

I saw that literally as it went up and nearly wet myself laughing!

Preordered from Tesco. Still awaiting delivery.... whats the point in preordering anymore.

But i cannot wait to get on and play, looks like so many hour can be sunk into it.

Arma 3 alpha is getting abused atm

IF you can get on. So far... I've been waiting on servers. So much for 120% more capacity...

Others have literally jumped on and got straight into a game. Frustrating

Better get used to this:

That's on the servers which are marked "Available". Clearly my definition of available differs to EA's

Do you have to be online to play? Seems like madness to me

It's EA's bout of always connected anti-piracy protection. Sucks the big one

I'd give it a week before unofficial servers come out which people can connect too

It sucks. There's been many mmorpg which the servers shut and if you did enjoy it casually, you're now stuck really. So it's not something that ill find in my cupboard in many years and likely be able to play which is a shame :(

The gameplay is quite good, but the maps are not big enough. You need to have 3/4 cities on the go really to satisfy

According to the BBC. EA feel 'really bad' about the poor launch of sim city and it going to be offering people that bought it a free game as compensation.

God damn tesco's , still hasnt arrived yet...

Only reason im not canceling is that it was only £30....
By the looks of things, you would be waiting on servers instead of waiting on the postie :?

Absolute disaster of a game launch, I've played MMORPGs with better launches.

Was tempted to get it, but not now.

Also, tonnes of those Francis videos, and of course, its all an act

So servers seem stable. Got a city to 350,000 residents. Gets pretty tricky as the water table simply can't support that many people and it keeps shifting. It gets pretty hard further on, whereas the earlier parts of starting a city are much easier than previous titles

Claimed my free game today. Didn't think it was going online so soon, and I haven't played since last week, but was available upon log on. Already own battlefield 3 so NFS it was

I have SimCity , my nick on origin is dempsej. Everyone say launch was crappy, but I had no problems from day 1 :). Lucky me I guess...
I'm bit disappointed about the size of single city, it's so freaking small compared to SimCity 4.
