seen it on a few older models of cars usually small cars like the twingo...... has anyone else considered a single wiper conversion or actually done it?

My old C1 vtr had a single wiper was quite effective but looked a bit strange and the mechanism when moving was odd, but it worked well and cheaper to replace one wiper lol

Takes me back...

...My old Citroen AX GT was a single wiper. No fancy mechanism, just a big single blade.

LOL @ "cheaper to replace"

I prefer bus wipers. My old car had them and they were amazing!

could be onto a winner here then? where do i begin :S any mechanism's from other cars? or are there companies out there that make them?

How bout the mechanism from the c1 or 107 they share similar dimensions in terms of windscreen size to the twingo?

This is a bit late I know, but a friend of mine managed to buy a single wiper conversion for his 172 Cup which has a similar wiping mechanism, so hopefully you can get a kit. Was a ******* to fit though from what I can remember lol

Doesn't really do anything for me... Kinda chavvy mod to do to a car now too, it's almost kinda up there with the "lexus lights" & "M3 style mirrors" IMO
