I've been of work since last Tuesday and thought I'd get some detailing in on all three cars, especially since the weather is nice, even got a new gazebo to give me some shade. Then this f*cking lot appears!!

RoadWorks1.jpg

4ft high mountain of dirt dug up literally 1ft from our front wall across the whole width of the house. I know this kind of thing has to be done but FFS, they pick the entire Easter holiday to do it. The pile is crap is still there so no detailing cars 6ft from a dust mound of crap.

Then to cap it off, they told us that our power would be off from 8.30am to 5.30pm today. So up we get, showered and go out early. Ended up sat round my mum's while she's at work. Turns out they never even turned the f*cking power off!!

You want to see the bottm of my road mate and its been like it for over a month !

Does my head in. There's me last Wednesday, first full day off trying to relax to the sound of pneumatic drills!

No chance of detailing the car with that lot either. Gutting as I've no doubt every f-ing weekend from now on will be raining. :(

Im surpraised there out there working our road has been blocked for about a month now and never seen anyone there working

gutted mate!
they do seem to pick the worst times in the world to do things

u should detail there mini digger!!theres a challenge for u
they might even like it and move or at least hurry up for u

They done my road last year. It was the gas people they put new pipes In and moved all our gas meters to out side the house. They dug the holes then went for a week they dug across my drive that pissed me off cos it was tight gettin on and off

The worst thing is, at the bottom of my road they have been building a new crossroads since november last year, that's not too bad coz they only work while I'm at work anyway.

But when I get to work.. I have to drive past the new stadium that's being built for Brighton and Hove Albion. I don't mind because that's my team, but that's been a mess for the last 18 months! Chalky marks up the wheels and mud splashes up the skirts. Great.

(it's an old pic coz it's nearly done now, but you get my drift!)
