Some attention

As well as the attention from various 15 year old corsa's wanting a piece of the car, which I've let them just get on with it :lol: I've received a fair bit from various rs owners too got flashed by a illiad blue 2005 vee this morning on my way to work (which I see around this way every so often) and an inferno orange 182 gave me a nod (the car not the driver :roll: ) too. I expected them to look down on me but so far rs ownership is awesome!

RS owners alway say hi to each other unless the a chavvy RS own.

You wouldnt beleave but the bigger engined RS owners love the little 133s

You'll find it a lot, especially with the Twingo. I got a fair few waves, flashes, etc in my 172 but the Twingo seems to get noticed a bit more!

I've had a couple of RS Twingo owners notice the Mrs 133 but not really had it in the Gordini yet but that may be because I've not driven it much! lol

Tend to find people used to spot the Megane when I drove that more frequently.

I think there's a bit of a friendliness with RenaultSport owners. Well the enthusiasts rather than the chavs that buy them.

I've seen the same illiad blue vee 3 times today! Think there was a supercar show on in chesham as I saw like 30 ferraris and 20 lambos go past me. Should have gone for a wander but had stuff to do I'm gonna try and flag him down and have a look soon :lol:

Last night though, I attracted a lot of attention from a very, very low, very, very noisy 172 that wanted to race me on the a1m coming from stevenage. Bloody hate stevenage at the best of times, he wouldn't piss off! I know his car is quicker, he knows it is, why does he need to prove it?!

people like that really really annoy me, it doesnt prove anything coz anyone can drive fast in a straight line and its faster car wins end of. i would love someone like that to pick on me through the twisties.

I hate the chumps in people carriers who seem to think a 1.6 Citroen Picasso is some sort of hyper car, and believe me a Picasso (old shape) is a nightmare to drive, worse car I've had on loan from a garage, even worse that a 307 1.6 estate

I had exactly that on the m25 today! Some Picasso trying to race me. Waited in the 50 zone then floored it as it got to the nsl again. My car hit 600 miles today so ive been enjoying it a little more they seemed suprised as I left them strangely?

I think that there are a lot of people out there have no idea what our cars are, they prob think that we are driving a bodykitted 1.1 with big wheels. I know it's not the quickest Renaultsport that money can buy but it can really surprise a few people. Even me sometimes. lol

I'm under no illusion that it's a really fast car, I know it's not. But it's fun, makes me grin and looks awesome! Especially now it's had some zaino loving

Ive had my Audi a few weeks now and only has one guy not accepted being over taken by me.

He was driving a Astra and was Oldish (no offer to any older drivers on here). Id say the Astra was about a 1.4 engine so mine has the power advantage.

Basically went around a roundabout then it splits into two lanes. He was going slow so i powered past straight after roundabout. next thing i notice is he is close behind me. so i then continued to pass other cars and he was still behind me all the way until i turned off. It was as if he couldnt take it that i over took him.
