I have had a very annoying squeak like metal on metal when going on and off the gas (parking etc)
Thought it sounded like the exhaust touching something or a mount rubber gone.
Got so fed up with it I got under the car and found a brake pipe coming from the passenger side bulk head was laying on the gearbox so was squeaking when engine moved.
Found that it should have sat in plastic clip on n/s of chassis but when I put it back it fell out again. Obviously poor quality clip so now I have 2 cable ties holding it to clip and as pipe had rubber protecting it the ties won't chaff pipe.
Worth looking for if anyone goes under the car as you don't want brake pipe rubbing through gear box!!
