Ok, so I'm thinking of replacing of replacing the standard speakers in the Mrs 133 as to be quite honest they are sh!te!

It wouldn't be so bad but with a sunroof that you obviously like to have open on a sunny day as soon as it is open you lose 50% of the feeble noise the standard speakers make anyway. So I think they have to go.

I've found a guide on how to remove the door card so that's not too bad but I wanted to know, are they 13cm speakers? If so, I'm guessing any of these would do the trick :

Cheers in advance. :D

Think I'm going to change the head unit, the cheapy kenwood I have is fine, but I managed to knock a front mounted USB stick and it's not hit or miss as to if it recognises the stick. So speakers may get ditched while I'm at it

i'm sure they are larger than 13cm. But may be mistaken

I had a look a few months back with the intention of fitting the pioneer components. posted pictures somewhere of the tweeter and the door panel appart

Pioneer do strate swap kit including tweeters. Or if want different will need adapters

What adapters would you need to fit other speakers? Always assumed that 13cm speakers or whatever size they are would be the same give or take.

Also what's the replacement kit like? Price? :)

Cheers

Think these have already been recommended but these are what I'd buy If I was keeping the Twingo
That's the ones I posted in the link :-/

I've just added some pioneer 1312i to the rear of mine made such a difference even with the standard head unit. It was a ball ache mind you having no rear speaker wires so I had to ad my own. But there so good I'm gonna replace the front ones and at 25 quid a pair who cares.

Indeed get a equil ballance in quality

Hand up under the dash and push out the top bit you see is a cover it sits it you will feel 2 big lumpy bits oppersit to each other push one side then the other once out Jently pull one side and pull out the tweeter as they are holding it in the once out the new one will go in the same way as the old one.
