Does anyone know the wire colour for positive/negative for the speakers???
changed my back ones last night but would like to know I got it right.

I've always used the beige colour as negative I think. Different speakers have different coloured wires so they can identify them on the looms.

Went to do the front speakers yesterday, thought I would do the tweeters first but what a surprise, no tweeters fitted, just some look a like speakers and no wires. Has anyone else had this problem????

Yup. I fitted tweeters with built in crossovers. Mines cup. No wires to the rears either so I added that too

Mines a cup and has wires in the back and wires in the dash with "fake" tweeters.

I think it's just random really whether you have them or not :s

No they were plugged into the fake tweeter with the connection block on the end too, not just wires. The rear wires were tucked away with the blocks too but I can't remember if they slotted into anything or were just loose.

I've been told by Renault that Gordini's don't have tweeters in the dash, they have a two way speaker fitted in the door...I'm not convinced...

i find it weird how some cars dont have tweeter wiring already because i have a freeway and i had the wiring there :?

pull of the surrounding and then there is some clips that the deck sits in on the front push em up and whola !

The plastic fascia surrong the cd player, there just clips and it will come out with a tug

Wish someone told me that. Near 2 hours spent fiddling with stereo removal keys

Just screw the cage that came with the new stereo into where the old one comes out, fold the metal tabs back to secure it fully and bobs you're uncle :)

I know i was using the keys to try and git mine out just to look at it and i just pushed the keys right in and i was annoyed n i just pulled and the surroundings came with it and i was like erm,,, that will do

where's the best place to start pulling the silver trim???
any particular tool good for it.
Just need to get access to the speaker wires to connect my tweeters.

Just fitted the tweeters and new speakers in the doors. Car sounds miles better.
Renault told me gordinis had two way speakers in the door, what a load of bull that is, all I found was a cheap dual cone speaker.
