I'm struggling to find springs that will lower my car more than 25mm, found some apex springs but they only drop it by 25mm, does anyone know any reasonable priced springs I could buy for my gordini? Or some reasonably priced coilovers preferably no more than 300 pound.

H&R springs have a pretty nice drop, although are meant to be rather firm. They looked good on Kevins dini.

Coilovers, they're not gonna be any good at that price range. You'll be spending nearly double that realistically. I'll recommend the bc racing Coilovers myself, which are nearly £700

Unfortunately theres not many options for coilovers that fit (that we know of)

The 133 shares the same 60mm bolt spacing as the Clio 182 Cup. However, we also need an attachment for the front anti roll bar to go onto the damper. Thats not an insurmountable problem but does limit the off the shelf options

i have got spax springs on mine at the moment they are a 25mm rear and 30mm front drop and they should be coming of this month as i have got coilovers so let me know if your interested in them? :)

v-maxx coilovers seem to have an average reputation on cs.net! not great, but not awful. what i'd advise you to do is buy these, and if you're not too handy with tools and a welder - take these coilovers to to an engineering / fabrication shop and ask them to make you up a strong bracket and weld it on. should cost around 50-80 pounds.

i wouldn't advise you to put lowering springs on your car, due to missmatched spring and damper rates you'll only ruin your dampers and replacing dampers and shocks on a 133 isn't cheap. at which point you will have been cheaper buying coilovers!!!! you'll only live to regret it in the end.

Ask waitey but I seem to recall he had all sorts of issues with knocking with the ap coilovers.

Nope I had Weitecs and it knocked when first fitted but it got looked at again and sorted out.

JE_GT had APs on his GT, I would personally go for BCs or Weitecs if you don't want to spend the extra for BC.

Someone with ap told me they were knocking. Now I think about it, it can't be you, as it was before I bought mine
