Stealing? Lol

Mine did that then the gear box mount broke. So have fun with that!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you go over any bumps do you hear a slight knocking/clunking noise?

That's another way to tell the ball joints are on the way out, they are stupidly common and other members have had this issue with hardly any miles on the car.

[singlespeed will correct me if I'm wrong ]

I also get a strange squeaky noise coming from the front right, mostly when turning left. Has been like that since new :s

Where you but your lower arms from cos there 156 from renault. Would rather have dealer parts but bit low on. Funds

ive had similar from mine. At it started when my lower arms needed doing.

but it has started again on certain days (mainly cold) and after having the arms looked over it doesn't seem to be linked to them.

To me, it sounds like its coming from the column somewhere. But you might be experiencing something different.

I'm guessing you're still under warranty with that mileage, yes? You should have the arms checked over at least and if it is them they should be replaced FOC.

But it sounds like you are having a similar problem to me, and the day the car was booked in for them to look at it the squeeking stopped! So they couldn't diagnose the fault. I'm unsure of the make up of the column but my guess is that its a seal/o-ring that is causing it.
