I wonder if I could ask for some advice.

Our other car (an old clio ) goes in for its MOT on friday, and has decided to develop an annoying squeak. It is definitely coming from a wheel - doesn't happen under breaking and appears to happen every other rotation of the wheel.

I have just looked and the stupid car doesnt have a jack, my bottle jack wont get it off the floor, will my twingo jack work?

thankyou all :)

Which clio? It may have the same chasis and aslong as you use the jack on the jacking point theres no reason why the standard twingo jack wont work.

Working under a scissor jack usually isnt reccommended though!

Its the older one, a t reg - just found out (between rain showers) that the jacking point on the drivers side has been crushed - so I can't safely jack it. Got it booked in for the mot friday - so I'll ask them to fix the jacking point for me then.

Silly car makes a horrible noise when reversing and turning - like a metal on metal screech.
