Hello All,

Quick simple thread. How do you recognise a FF twingo with the Cup Chassis option.

Is it just the wheels? How do you know it isn't the standard chassis with just the cup wheels? Can you buy the wheels without the chassis

You looking to buy one?

It's only really the wheels if you need help drop me a pm with the reg and I can check at work

Yes I am. Already had my car valued at my local Renault. I just want a FF with a Cup Chassis. How do you know it's a FF and not just a Cup?

Visually tinted windows, inside air con if it's ff

If it has cup chassis the 17" wheels

Easy peasy

Also a cup will have the rear seat as a bench, FF with cup will still have the split folding/sliding rear seats.

At a glance, that's the obvious one :!:

Here's a laugh, the guy that sold me mine didn't realise it had the cup chassis - he thought it just had the alloys as a part of the black/white pack!!! So it was priced as a standard FF - saved me a grand without him even knowing

I might be in the same boat, but I want to check. Just bought a 13 plate and it has the black 17" black wheels etc, but not sure if they have been added as a solo extra.

How do I check to see if its part of the cup pack or not? Is the oval plate in the boot mentioned above the only way?

Thanks

I asked the same question a couple months ago. Have a look at the rear suspension and if there is a purple blob on the shocks/springs then it's cup suspension.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong though.
