Hi all,

I am normally found in the Porsche forum. However, my friend had his blue/silver Clio V6 stolen from his driveway last night in London SE12.

Thought I would post up in case any one reads this and seen a blue Clio V6 in strange circumstances in the early hours of this morning, in the SE London area. If so, contact me via email.

The car is quite distinctive as the front grilles have been painted silver to match the side vents, so it does not look completely standard and these are rare cars anyway. There are also small K-Tec decals on it.

Registration is V6TUY which has been made to look more like V6 TOY - although reg probably chnaged by now.

How I would like to meet the guy that stole it.

Any help appreicated.

Just FYI anyone down south between London and Dover.....

Damn that really does suck ar$e.

Wonder if they broke in for the keys? One of the guys at work had his R32 stolen when someone broke into his house and nabbed the keys. :(

Poor guy, hope he gets it back and the theif gets caught!

If his keys were stolen... it is a cry for everyone to keep their keeps with them/next to the bed at night. mine are NEVER left downstairs

The police will urge you otherwise though Rob.

If your keys are next to you they gotta go to you to get them. A car is a car at the end of the day. As much as I love mine, and you lot love yours, I'd rather see a car stolen than someone attacked for their keys and then stolen...

Wow. There are some nasty people out there. My friend had his Clio broken into and stolen on Christmas Day. Of all days to have your car stolen. :( The authorities found it abandoned and recovered it but from the photos he put on Facebook, it was a wreck, glass everywhere and a huge brick planted into the passenger seat.
