Well my car doesn't have the easy life like karls 133... mine goes up and down the m1 and round the m25 at least four times a week usually... so as you can imagine.. throughout the winter with the snow/grit/rain/etc.... the front of the car takes a bit of a beating and as you can see from the picture below it left its mark with stone chips   so after cleaning the car and showing the true state of it it was time to get the polish and the wax out followed by the sealant to correct it and bring it back to my standard.. so here are some pictures showing before and after... and a cheeky shine one too!

maybe not 100% perfect but alot better than before (all done by hand)

As above you'll really need a touch up paint of some kind to get it back.

You may find a wax fills them a little so takes the edge off the peppered look. Must say it doesn't look as bad as it could be from those pics.

Sadly because it's a dark colour and by the sounds of it you do a fair few miles stone chips show up quite badly. :(

If you're planning on keeping the car you could go for a front end respray and protective film over the front end. Not a cheap option though sadly.

Poorboys Black Hole may help get rid of them.

basically is a Glaze full of fillars which can remove marks or slight scratches on the paint as long as its not taken back to undercoats.

maybe worth a shot id say. ive used the same product before but one for light paints on my A3 it took a scratch on Wing Mirror straight out sadly no pictures.
