Was on my way back from FOW, after my girlfriend paid a deposit on a 07 plate clio 197, :) (try post some pics of my and her cars together at later date), anyway whilst joining the motorway, some idiot in a green car ( really cant remember the make or model, maybe old golf) driving down the slip road, he cuts over the slip road markings. Onto the motorway, so I go to overtake as im still on the slip road, going past he starts to move back onto the slip road and just misses me, and clips a ford focus ( 12 plate ) and ruined some old mans day!! felt awfull for him, was going to stop but before I noticed what had happened I was a good way onto the motorway, ( 2 other cars stopped from what I seen, ) you dont think I could get any blame for what happend? I know i undertook him but was on the slip road and he was doing about 50 next to me on the motorway so would have had to break heavy to join behind him.

Nah you are fine. You hit nothing and only acted in a way that was safe - from what you said about him going 50 on a motorway and cutting across markings - the golf thing is entirely to blame.

Might be worth popping out to your car and get a few dated pictures, just to show there is no damage on todays date and time.
Probably not necessary really in your case - but for the sake of a 5 minutes of your time snapping some pics - it covers your own back. I only mention this as it is what I was advised when a car crashed right infront of mine ( not my fault).
