channel 4 right now, doritos at the ready and irn bru!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for anyone who hasn't got a clue, but is up for giving it a go here is the run down on both teams

denver broncos - favourites. basically their quarter back (thats the guy who gets the ball and throws it to folk!) is the best in the game ... arguably the best ever. he created history with his old team, got an injury...got dropped, now he is back stronger than ever. went the whole season just demolishing teams, absolutely humping the big teams and other favourites .... broncos are a small team who haven't had much success but are on their way.

seattle seahawks - underdogs. they are the team that are unbeaten at home, it's an absolute fortress...the noise is akin to a wrestling crowd. brutality at it's kindest! but away from home, they are crap.

the superbowl is being played in new jersey, so it should be interesting. denver bronco's are used to playing inside a dome ..... this game is a -14 degrees / snowy outdoors winter fest, so it puts denver at a big loss. with the seahawks being crap away from home, perhaps it will even things out. plus, it's fantastic watching folk getting their spines snapped almost when they get tackled

anyone who's watching it, enjoy!!!

i'm going bronco's :D but i've a soft spot for the seahawks brutality

I prefer watching rugby, that's a proper contact sport.

American football looks so boring, they have more breaks than gameplay...

it's a game of rhythm and intricate tactics. start and stop, 48 minutes of gameplay no matter how many breaks there are. that means unlike rugby, you aren't running around for 50% of the allocated game time hoping for a gap in the other teams defence, you have your 'downs' to attempt something different. it's called efficiency lol. it's a game of protecting the runner and brutally tacking anyone trying to get to the runner whereas rugby is constantly throwing the ball sideways along a line without much stopping to have a think about your next punch at breaking the defence. on the contact front, i just seen a guy getting speared flat on the deck at full spring and a chap just got basically chokeslammed off the ball just there. if rugby was chequers, american football would be chess.

but back on track, anyone who does watch it i hope you enjoy it ...... orange or white ???? ;)

Manning is a tank!

Seattle are looking strong though, I love how the teams have one brute to crunch people lol

manning is a tank, but it sure looks like seattle are the ones dishing out the spank'. 23-0 up right now, 3 minutes till half time. will be interesting to see if or how they come back but i am not predicting this game over. this is beyond domination, i've got to admit i never actually thought this scenario was possible.

Just watched most of the second quarter. 40 minutes and they hadn't even played the 15 minute session. I suppose its better than American rounders which is a complete yawn fest, but even so, I think I'd rather watch football... And that's never going to happen.

I was saved by having to attend the weekly safety meeting :)

what a pounding denver has taken, literally peyton manning has had his pants taken down and the entire seahawks defence and offence has taken their turn .... peyton manning is now sponsored by durex. #gettingpumped! i seen that on twitter, was in tears lol
