Copied from detailingworld but assume some might be interested here. Ask me anything you want!

I have now tried these back to back on both white and black. Pictures will follow but it started bucketing it down last night and I've not had a chance to wash them since obviously.

Process was wash, cleanse with wolfs brake buster over the whole car, spot claying (only the rear diffuser needed a little attention on my car to be fair) and lime prime applied by hand with a microfibre dodo mitt.

My thoughts? Hybrid went down thinner, went further, felt slicker and simply glided across the panel with ease. Supernatural (was poured cNovember 2010 so a recent version) simply didn't spread as far. I tried 2 methods.

1) with a very slightly damp supernatural finger mitt (1 for each, both fresh out of the packet)

2) with a UFO red applicator with a spritz of zaino z6

I felt on both occassions hybrid outclassed the original in terms of application. Although I would apply supernatural by hand, I wouldn't with hybrid due to the solvent heavy smell and my girly, office hands

I left both to cure for about 30 mins as it wasn't as warm as it has been. Temperature outside read 14 degrees but the panel no doubt was cooler as it was overcast. I also left a panel on each to cure for about 3 hours....

On removal both were mega easy but hybrid was noticeably easier to remove requiring one swipe and it left no residue whatsoever. Supernatural, however, required more than one in despite being laid down very, very thin. This may be because it was easier to make hybrid go further so might have been marginally thinner layer (on white it was hard to tell though...) Even on the panels left for much longer, it was still an absolute breeze. Next test will be to leave hybrid overnight to see how it cures over such a long time and ease of removal, already tried with the original and it was still a breeze

This morning both were beading nicely and the water was sheeting under it's own weight. A good sign methinks. There was very little difference (if any) in both looks and beading. Supernatural always impresses me with it's glass like reflections that are crisp and it's tight, uniform beading. Hybrid is no different in this respect.

So the next test (and future updates) will revolve around ease of cleaning, sheeting, beading durability and overall durability.

So a simple sheeting video and of course piccies

Whilst I was at it a quick hoover, dodo pink thingy over plastics to remove dust. No dressing as I applied some 303 not long ago.
Eeek at the mileage I seem to be doing :p

Ah I did mean to, and did try to! But I was so bloody busy whilst I was there. I'll be down for a bbq at a co. called digitec sometime soon if you're about. Not sure when it is but I'll be staying in the middle of nowhere (woolavington rings a bell?)

Wow looks amazing, wish I had the time to polish my car so much. Every time I get near it the mrs finds me more house work either that or it's peeing it down lol

Thank you mate, it really is my hobby and my only real stress relief. I find it very relaxing and fortunately am able to find time to do it. This weekends cars:

Audi TT
Audi TTRS cabby
And a rubbish lil toyota aygo

so my car is likely to get neglected slightly :( but it's okay, I mangaed a quick wash when i got in last night before going down the pub  she only got done both saturday and sunday :p a quick wash only takes half an hour, that includes wheels, wash, door shuts, glass, interior wipe over and a quick wipe down on the engine bay to keep it fresh looking :D

I love the TTRS, amazing car!!!

Out of interest, where do you get the work from and how much do you tend to charge?

yeah quicker than an r8 v8 spider in the straights! Mental

And I get them from word of mouth mostly, just make sure people know I'm doing it through work and mates mostly. I've got another rs133 to do soon too ;)

As for prices, varies. I do it mostly for mates, and I really enjoy it and get to see some special metal sometimes. I got to help with an r8 not long ago which was nice (although very brief). So sometimes it's as little as covering costs, and sometimes a couple of hundred quid depending on what they want doing and how well i know em. I tend to avoid corrections now though cos I just simply never have enough time and people expect it for nothing!

Fair enough. Whose 133 are you doing?

I'm starting to feel the same way about correction work, it's often more hassle than it's worth. I've started to say to customers that unless they have a garage I can work in, I won't take on correction work. The most intensive service I tend to offer at the moment is an enhancement (wash, decontaminate/clay, single stage machining with finishing pad/lime prime). The results are good and I can get that done in a day, so it's fairly cost effective. I'm mostly just trying to get regular maintenance work at the moment tbh.

Maintenance work is where it's at unless you have the higher clientel and a proper unit. I also suggest it's not worth removing paint if it'll get back to that state in 6 months time...

And when I actually get to do it, which will be soon, I'll do a write up. It's got some serious iron contamination. And is white.

I WANT a ttrs now  moving it was a bit scary though, one lil slip and I would probably have hit 60 on my drive before i hit the wall

I've now had this one for 2 weeks and it's going just as strong as applied. Been washed about 6 times  and done about 750-1000 miles and just as fresh as the first day :D I'm loving this stuff!!

This is me telling you lot to buy a pot from matt :)

Is a big pot being released like the original supernatural ?

I don't think Dodo Juice are currently planning to release a larger pot but, bearing in mind how good the product is, 100ml is an awful lot and probably more than a personal user would ever use. I'd say you can probably do as many cars with 100ml of Supernatural Hybrid as you could with 200ml of wax.

Fair enough. They may decide to bring out a special pot eventually but, if they did, it wouldn't be for a very long time.
