My drive to work consists of driving through a deer park (very nice to see every day), there are deers in around.. and yes they do get hit and killed 
(3 so far this year.. there is a sign i tried to get which says kill your speed not the deer, 3 deers killed this year so far)
and yes.. that car that is stopped.. you should be able to stop the driver to the left...laying on the ground.. taking pictures of the deer haha...standard for an early morning
