So somehow i managed (after 6 months of owning the Twingo) to get the perfect driving position ie wheel far away enough that my elbows don't catch on the seat, the pedals not too far away and the seat giving the right amount of support in a corner.

Had a play with an M3 and god they are shockingly quick in a straight line! Had him in the corners and noted how comfortable i felt with the car like it was my old saxo. Afterwards i decided to use string so if in future Renault or anyone sits in my drivers seat and moves it i can get it back in the perfect position!

My car now looks like a spider web LOL

Lucky you :p why not use something a little more subtle? I had my perfect seating position but someone changed it while we were listening to music from my car in a field. I was not happy. and I still haven't found it after a few weeks.

I marked the strings so i know which is which. It was easy in my old saxo as it just went forwards and backwards and the backrest adjusted and that was it. If i looked at the sliders it had 2 left to go so could always find it again.

lucky you for getting a perfect driving position at all lol. Im too tall, seat won't go low enough or far enough back but cause i love the way the seats look and feel i let its foibles pass me by :)

The only things i don't touch is the seat height (i have that fully down) and the steering wheel (set full down as well)

Having the same problem with the high sitting position. Do you think we could get someone to make a lowering subframes for Twingo RS seats. Just wondering

Get the seats from the Wind

I dont think you sit too high in the twingo as i can barely see the bonnet where i sit as it is!

The problem for me was getting the blend of adequate seat support and arm and foot reach

Don't tempt me :) Just out of curiosity - do they have airbags? In case you sat in the RS ones -do they offer the same grip? Are the subframes lower than those of RS? Could be a nice conversion...If yes, then the only downside would be the loss of ability to fold them.

The seats come with airbags.

I think they hold you better in place than the standard 133 seats, about the subframes, I have no idea honestly.

There's also leather heated seats available incase you want your buttocks nice and cosy.

No, that's quite alright, no heating required ;) Sooo, this could get interesting, have to look at some numbers now, see whether they are any lower, 2" would be more than enough and then...I need test the seats and see how well they really hold you in place. Would look nice in RS colours with orange stitching & stuff :D
