...........the more I'm warming to it. Especially with the quite disappointing news regarding the new Clio, with all the fake sounds, paddle shift and no doubt a ton of extra weight.

Have they released info about special editions in the pipeline yet or is it all a bit too early? Seriously considering a new one in a years time.

Its a grower! If you see one everyday, the new twingo rs starts to makes sense
 It looks good trust me, Especially in black ;)

i totally agree...when it came on a market i thought its a little disappointment but now.....give me one in L-Y
about the CLIO what are they thinking of, since when its bigger then megane. still praying that RS coming in 3-door version.

I too am hoping that a truly stripped out cup version of the clio will be available, but from what I here they have scrapped the series. Plus that 5 door thing is not the end of the world, but why? Cost cutting I guess. And I wouldn't mind a turbo'd motor to play about with.

I like the new Clio but the new Twingo RS hasn't grown on me. The new Twingo facelift looks ok as a non-RS but isn't a patch on the original Twingo 133. (in my opinion haha)

The Clio has lost weight...?

I love how people can tell how much it weighs from a few pics

well it says no doubt a ton of extra weight, because most makers seem to add it. besides, the first impression of the car is very bad. it may drive well but i'll have to wait on that. Problem is I had initially thought about trading up to the clio when it came out but the release details have make me think otherwise. The twingo seems to be the better option at the minute.

Hard to judge it in terms of weight as at first glance the Megane RS250 appeared bigger and 'heavier' than the 225 yet wasn't.

Technology moves on including materials used that affect the weight although it'll be heavier than the 172/182 models that's for definite! lol

Pick up a cheap 225 if you want a turbo'd car to play about with ;-)

they did say the clio in one of the reviews that it was lighter than the 200

when the twingo came out a hated it, but now i love it,

There's a brand new RS Twingo in my local dealers in red which is looking nicer and nicer every day. Might go in and ask for a test drive :p Are Renault still doing that 4+ plan?

I'm still not entirely sold its mainly the lights for me, however in red and white I think it looks quite good. Just every other colour. New Clio looks awful in every colour lol

Facelift in LY looks awesome! Only issue I have with the new one though is that it looks like there's too much going on at the front if that makes sense, the pre-facelift looks a bit cleaner, I dunno could just be me. Definitely a grower though

its been confirmed by renaultsport that its lighter, the non RS is around 100kg lighter but no official specs for the RS yet

I love the facelift twingo RS, really growing on me too, not sure i could justify a new one over a ph1 with 30k miles though!
