What do you do to relax/cheer yourself up.

Everyone has different ways of doing things and it might be a nice idea to float different ways around so other people can try it and relax/become happier :)

i love nice bubbly baths with scented candles with relaxing beach music playing.

Thats a good idea actually! What do you tend to bake? cookies and cakes or more savory meals?

i love to cook anything and everything.

but yer if stressed, i bake sweet stuff, depending on what i have laying around, but more of a cake than a cookie

:)

You can't beat a good cake!!!

maybe we should get a recipe section up on here?

Pritchp - You are the gayest straight man in the world!!!! lol I mean that in the nicest way mate I really do but some of the posts you come up with do leave me wondering! haha

As for relaxing, I've recently taken up martial arts again. After about 4 years I stopped and haven't been back into it in about 6 years. Thought I'd get back into it with the bonuse of getting fitter with it. I find that helps me relax.

Also because I don't drive day to day, if I go out for a specific drive I find that relaxing as well. :)

Alex... you forgot my name??? did the night we spent together mean NOTHING to you??? (its rob)

martial arts.. bit of anger to let off steam.. love it!

It's Juijitsu that I've just taken up. I did Kung-Fu before and used to do pretty well, mainly at the Sanda (Chinese kickboxing) aspect of it.

It's funny though as Juijitsu teaches you how to take someone down, usually painfully and force them to submit. Kung Fu was more about not being taken down. Certainly enjoying it though and found a really good dojo to train at, nice bunch in there. :)

That's it haha, I knew that.

As for a night together, remember it's not gay unless your balls touch! lol

Sounds pretty cool. No gi as well is good, I kinda don't like relying on using that. Wouldn't help you if you were in a real life situation.

Sadly I always come into a heavyweight category. I entered the British Junior Kung Fu championship when I was 17 (day before I was 18) and was the heaviest competitor then at about 110kg! haha

I just go for a walk and listen to music, normally does the trick. If the weathers nice I'll go for a ride out on the crotch rocket and forget everything as its just me and the bike. Pure freedom :D

Actually that's one thing I completely forgot.........music!!

I listen to it constantly haha. Probably 2 hours+ of listening to music each day. Usually when I'm commuting to work. It seems to relax me after a day at work and get me charged up for the start of the working day.

music certianly keeps me sane whilst traveling int eh mad house, which is london rush hour on the trains

dont get me started :p

drive to tram stop, tram to east croydon, east croydon to clapham junction on train and then over ground from clapham junction to kensington olymipa

oh yer and then walk :p

To relax I've got several options depending on the time/place etc. (will also keep this pg)

Go for a bike ride
Have a game of squash
Go snowboarding
Read in a hammock
Lay in a hammock and stare at the stars (obviously need night time for that too)
Go for a drive
Try and think of a problem and solve it (one of my favourites)
Particular music playlists
