Ermm... ok guys, not sure how to start this, lol
me and a few colleagues from work are going to be doing the 3 peaks challenge weekend 1st July.
This consists of walking up the 3 highest peaks in the U.K, Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Mount Snowdon. The plan is for some of us to actually run up Mount Snowdon :shock: :?
The worse thing is, we are doing it in 24hours!! Its going to be a great experience and in some way im excited about doing this, just need to get back in shape after my recent injury.
We are doing it to raise money for the Yorkshire air ambulance. This is for 2 reasons, the 1st, because its a local charity to work and the 2nd and the most important, because it actually saved a good friend of mine and his little boy after a serious car crash. the air ambulance rely totally on charity donations and this is the best way we can say thankyou.
ive been spending this evening finalising a few things and now its all official and stuff.
Now... i dont like doing this because in a way, its a bit like begging but was wondering if you guys would sponsor me? we have a website www.justgiving.com/knowhowthreepeaks and you can donate on here.
I dont care how much you give, could even be 1p and i know times are hard for all of us, me included and you dont even have to leave your name but if you do, leave twingo133.net on the end so i can see you and will give u a mention at the end.
