Well only owned the twingo 3month and it's time to get rid due to new job, going to doing well over 600 miles a week, so a diesel makes sense, any suggestions? So gutted to have to let it go

A banger of a focus diesel to get you from A-B and not be bothered if it gets parking dents or driving it in snow and keep the twingo .

As above tho put it this way, twingo cup can do 45 plus mpg (I can as I drive 100 miles to and from work) a diesel say 50 tho with higher fuel prices would cost more than the twingo in fuel prices. A c1 will do 60 plus mpg and can hit 76 mpg tho 80 mpg has been recorded and they are gettin cheaper.

Humm been looking at Clio dci as a second car, this means getting rid of my rs turbo, something has to give :/ can't afford to loose to much money on my twingo by piling the miles on... Suppose it's got really low mileage now, it's a bit of a dilemma

buy a 106 or saxo 1.5 diesel for like £500 tops you can get 70 - 80mpg out of those and they are cheap as out

.... No you cant.. I was lucky to get 50 tops out of mine and they are flat diesels.

u could get it converted to lpg ( auto gas ) iv got my balingo van coverted and paying 63P per lituer

Aberdeen rush hours are great! Walking can be faster.


VAG 1.9tdi engines are prety bullet proof and the 130 models have enough about them to keep you ammused. High 40's mpg isn't brilliant, but its realistic. The fact that it outlasted its sucsessor the 2.0pd says a lot.
