Should my top mounts be sittin this high? They wasn't before my lower ball joints were doneImageUploadedByTapatalk1355231276.921887.jpg

The top mounts will move up and down when turning. Was the photo taken with the wheels dead straight?

The gap in your photo doesn't look excessive... I may even go as far as saying it looks normal?

Mine are that high and I'm pretty sure it's been discussed before somewhere and think its normal. Not 100% though as I'm not a mechanic

I think something has been lost in translation. There was no pushing or pulling as they were not out of place.

The strut rotates around the top mount and lower ball joint. Being as the lower ball joint attaches onto the hub, it isn't inline with the strut. Therefore the strut angle will change and the mushroom will tilt backwards and forwards between left/right lock
