Does anyone sometimes have an issue when turning right - the indicator stalk just wont have it and clicks and jumps back to neutral?

Yep, since day one. Just straighten up and return and it engages again. Or hold it on like I normally do.

I can't actually say I've noticed in all honesty..

I know I'll indicate right if coming onto a roundabout when I'll be taking the 9 o'clock exit (my direction taking as 12 o'clock) but the slight left turn to get onto the roundabout cancels the right indication, so I just hold it.

All cars ive driven do this depending on the curvature of the steering wheel etc. it only happends when turning right, the worst car was the mini with its automatic turning off indicators (pointless annoying feature) its not just the twingo so dont worry, its very normal

I think it pops out of the internal fitting?
It doesn't seem to be anything to do with the position of the wheels just rather random.

I just thought, my 09 seat Ibiza did this, when I pushed the stick up it flashed three times, and went back down, the idea was that it was a lane move signal, and you push harder for it to stay on. But it never did, you had to hold it up. I think the qashqai does too but I havnt driven it for a few months now I have the twingo :S

The Ford Focus does the same as well, I reckon it's a brilliant idea. If I'm chaning lanes in any Renault I have to hold the indicator or turn it on and back off again.

Yeah it is a good idea, three flashes and it goes back off again, apart from when your trying to turn a corner and it clicks off because they didn't like to stay on, even when pushed harder.

my old Ibiza was good at indicating, (the only thing that it had going for it) where as you just taped the indicator and it indicated for about 4 flashes then stopped. A great feature!

I can live with the indicator stalk on the Twingo.

I once had a Citroen GS that didn't self-cancel the indicators at all (by design, not poor workmanship...).

The logic was that if you wanted to turn, you turned the indicator on; when you'd finished you turned it off again.

VERY useful when you're on a roundabout or a bend with right-hand lock and want to indicate left.

It was said that you could tell a "new" Citroen driver because they'd be on a perfectly straight road with the indicator going
