As title says really does the twingo rs's adapt and learn like the 197's by any chance?
Thanks people !

So I'm guessing it's a yeah it most probably is like but just thought I'd check haha

Im a little thick here, but are we talking about learning fuel types or adaptive to your driving style. All this ecu stuff confuses me if im honest!

Fuel type etc how much air is going through etc

Hmm, interesting I shall run the 98 for a couple of days more and see if it learns, how long does it usually take to learn?

Not 100percent sure I doubt you will notice it but tuning wise ie when comes to remap time you could see it on there or just rolling road day... That's why a few on the 197's have bord out tb's but take a few days to adjust ..

My old Clio 172 was mapped at RS Tuning to run 99 ron.

I only put 95 ron in it once, when the garage was out of 99, and I filled it to the brim.
Was really like driving with the bloody handbrake on.

Complete dog.
99 in next fill up and it was back to normal.

I think it takes a couple of fills to totally adapt as far as everyone used to reckon back in the day on Cliosport anyway.

I think those ecu's were slightly different again mate but yea that's similar to what I mean

I would imagine it adjusts according to the fuel type but that's purely a guess.

Well aware of the RS Megane engines, even the originals having an ECU that adapted to driving style as well.

Well that kinda gives me it's a learner bud and great results!!!

Ive run a two tanks of momentum since new plugs and coils. Feels very responsive and at 130 a litre in Watford it's not wallet crunching.

I've noticed, personally, there doesn't seem to be much if any difference between the new fuel save and v power at shell. However, I'm sure a remap would change that slightly.

Really you can't notice difference between the 2? I tried normal fuel in the 197... Never again sticking with v power but I Spose your ment to run the 197 on higher octane fuel anyway as standard don't know if that's case on twingos I also noticed slight increase in mpg too tbh

I did with the old stuff. But not the fuel save stuff. Dunno how it differs, or it could be a different batch.

But no, I didn't when I tried it
