twingo 1.2 extreme 2009 wont start after i had a bump.

got a 2009 twingo had a bump airbags gone off but going out of my mind with why it wont start now.
renault told me theres a red button size of 10p coin by the battery press to reset.
i can not find it spend hours and hours looking. mate told me cus airbags have gone off the car wont start till its airbag ecu has been reset. i have just read in another forum somebody with same problem has reset his airbag ecu and its the same still not starting. what the flippin heck is going on i getting head ache thinking about it now.

red button if it has one will be beside the battery, beside the fuel rail or beside the ECU, but only on cable throttle cars

hi no red button on this one seems its to do with airbag ecu. rang renault there man said red button but didnt beleave me when i said theres not one lol. i bought new airbags on ebay and asked the guy about it he said airbag ecu reset do airbags and be ok then so we will see? thanks all for the help.

I'm not sure if the Twingo airbag ECU is on their list, as I don't know the number of it.

thats not bad but i always 1st look on ebay check if there feedback fits with what thay say thay can do if so go for it and airbag reset for mine on ebay was £19.89 free retern post.

Sorted. Thats a fraction of what used to be a replacement ECU to get one without the error codes.

For completeness, where abouts was the ECU and how easy/hard was it to remove?

take centre concul out and was in front of gearstick under carpet. would never of found it lol
