Hi
How much is the first service from renault???
So far been quoted £155 on line, £800 on line and £240 from local garage.
I'm confused now...
Thanks.

Owch! Those price's are high. I've been quoted £89.99 from a renault dealers in milton keynes

I think it's just over £200 from a Renault dealership for a first service. Maybe £250! Not cheap :(

£250 I was quoted which was reduced to £230 then I asked and got £187 then haggled a little more (I think I embarrassed Carrie a little at that point  ) and got it £150 which I was happy with for the stamp. Although still an expensive oil change!

She was only embarrassed because you were on your knees and the fella you were "haggling" with had his trousers at his ankles

Haha Andrew is a big black man. I would be scared!

Usually the services I get from my dealer (engine oil, new filter, gearbox oil) average 200€, so it would be about 160 pounds I guess. And it´s done with the best oil I can put in the car as I use it mostly on the track so no rubbish fluids for my RS.

I've got another Renault dealer ringing me back today with a price.
If no good I'll see if I can book a fixed price service on the net..£155...

This is obviously quite a way for you to travel, but from the RS forums..

At Lookers Renault Chester we are always offering Renaultsport members discounted services, so just a reminder to the prices we offer
.
Twingo 133 1st service £159

Mine was £180.. But they didnt do a propper service, i believe they just did the basics, an i was fuming they chilped my orange break paint, didnt do my traking, didnt clean my car, didnt do so much stuff, so i got it sent in again and got my next one free mwuhaha plus loads of other stuff!

I paid about £150 for my last one at Cardiff Renault and apparently includes an MOT but as mine wasn't due yet to take it back in for free when it was. They did a good job in fairness to them.

I was quoted £190 when I bought my car.
Haggled and got it included in the sale, booked stamped and check sheet filled in for history.

It had only done 8k miles, but its nice to get a proper service with a used car.

Update
1st quote £240 then further quotes of £195 and £188 all Renault dealers.
Just booked and had it confirmed online via Renaults website for £155.

Moral of the story is.... book it fixed price on line..

I've used the garage before, some time ago when a previously had a clio, they were first class, so hoping for the same service.
Checked the service book and 1st service is only oil and filter change.
